‘ABP’ Bear Brown Shares An Update On Mom’s Hospitalization
Alaskan Bush People fans have been concerned about the family’s well-being over the last few days. It was revealed that the family matriarch, Ami Brown, was hospitalized over the weekend due to a bad case of pneumonia. Now, Bear Brown has shared an update with fans. Ami Brown Admitted To The Hospital
Snowbird Brown was the person who broke the news about Ami’s hospitalization. She shared a video to Instagram on Saturday, March 16 telling her followers that her mother had been rushed to the hospital.

“Mom got sick and yesterday she was having trouble breathing so we took her to the [emergency room],” Snowbird said in the clip. “She has a severe case of pneumonia. She ended up going to the nearest fairly large town and she’s on antibiotics now and they’re taking care of her.” It was clear that Bird was also battling a cold in the Instagram video.
“I just want her to get better,” she continued. “Like I said, she is OK. It is a severe case of pneumonia, though.” Bird thanked all of the fans for their support and for caring about her mother so much.
The Alaskan Bush People star assured everyone that Ami was “okay.” However, that has not stopped fans from being worried. Ami Brown was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017 and, while she has been in remission since 2018, there is always concern that it may return.
Bear Brown Shares An Update On Mom
Bear Brown took to TikTok to share an update about Ami’s health Tuesday evening. It was good news for fans and the family. The ABP star started the video letting everyone know that he was providing a “quick update” about his mom. He said that the family appreciates all of the love and support they have received since the news broke.
According to Bear, Ami Brown is doing much better and could potentially be realized soon. “Mom is very strong, she is very tough,” he said in the clip.

He continued, providing a few details about her cancer diagnosis in 2017. At the time, doctors gave her a very low chance of survival, but Bear Brown pointed out that she was able to beat that. “You can’t stop her,” he said.
The ABP star said that he was hopeful that she would be released “today” and said that he would keep fans updated on when she is back at home. The main thing, he said, is that she is feeling better and should be out of the hospital soon. There haven’t been any additional updates since his video last night.
Fans took to the comment section to express their love and support for Ami Brown. “I remember her faith, her strength and her determination when she was sick… She is an amazing woman,” one person wrote. Another commented, “Praying for your mom and your wife and anyone who needs it. Your mom is a WARRIOR!!”
