Did Reba McEntire Call Taylor Swift An ‘Entitled Little Brat’?

Reba McEntire sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. At the same Super Bowl, Taylor Swift was in the press boxes to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce play and win another Super Bowl championship for the Kansas City Chiefs. A Facebook page titledĀ America Loves Liberty posted a story from the Super Bowl, claiming Reba called Taylor an “entitled little brat” at the Super Bowl.

Here is what Reba had to say about this Facebook post.

Reba McEntire Responds To Taylor Swift At Super Bowl

The post claims that while Reba McEntire sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift was laughing, drinking, and “making a mockery of the event.” It also claims Reba looked at the big screen and saw the camera on Taylor as she did this. It said Reba said she, “let her have it afterward. She’s an entitled little brat.”

If this sounds nothing like Reba McEntire, you would be right. Not only is this Facebook page delivering fake news to its followers, but Reba put them on blast for the post. Reba shared the post on her own Facebook page and told her fans not to believe everything they see on the Internet. Reba then revealed what she really thinks about Taylor.

“Taylor is a wonderful artist, strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and the music industry,” Reba concluded.

Several sites love to post fake news to make people angry. Some sites post fake news because they enjoy fooling people into thinking something is true when it is most definitely not. America Loves Liberty is one of those latter websites. Their Facebook banner says it is the “Home of Conservative Tears” and their main website is a parody site that mocks people who believe their headlines at face value – “fragile, frightened, mostly older caucasian Americans.”

Reba McEntire Settling Into New Role On The Voice

While Reba McEntire never said unkind words about Taylor Swift, she has been winning over a new generation of fans. This is thanks to her role as a coach on The Voice. NBC brought her in as a big-name country replacement for the departing Blake Shelton and she has been doing great in her role.

While she lost to Niall Horan in her debut season (Niall won back-to-back seasons, beating Blake in season 23), she did well. Reba finished with Ruby Leigh as the runner-up to Horan’s Huntley. Season 24 is now underway, and Reba is still going strong, with many fans hoping she will be someone who sticks around for more seasons to come.

What are your thoughts about people believing that Reba McEntire would say something so hateful about Taylor Swift? Do you like that Reba stood up to let fans know the truth? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
