‘The Masked Singer’ Who Is Miss Cleocatra, The Clues & Hints
The Masked Singer was back this week with a new episode and four new contestants. There was one unmasking this week, as Afghan Hound lost in the Smackdown and revealed herself to be Savannah Chrisley from Chrisley Knows Best. However, one person who didn’t need to worry about the Smackdown is Miss Cloecatra.
Here is what we know about Miss Cleocatra and our guesses about who might be under the mask.
Miss Cleocatra On The Masked Singer
It was Wizard of Oz night on The Masked Singer and four new singers took the stage, with one going home at the end of the night. One of the new singers is Miss Clecatra. As her name indicates, the costume is a cat dressed like the iconic Cleopatra. Here is what happened on her first night on the reality TV show.
Miss Cleocatra came out and started Wizard of Oz night with her performance of the Etta James song “Stormy Weather.” She also told Nick Cannon that she compares herself to The Good Witch from The Wizard of Oz, although she said in her clue’s package that it took her “some time to figure that out.”
As for her The Masked Singer clue package, she said she lived in “technicolor” a long time ago. She said she was always worried the empire she built could crumble beneath her. The word “Bel-Air” was shown on the screen. She then said her days were split between “rainbows” and “black and white.” This was another homage to The Wizard of Oz.
Miss Cleocatra said people called her a “national treasure” but she felt “wicked.” Things changed when she “got the diagnosis I never wanted, but so desperately needed.” The footage then showed a crow. She said she reached out for help and became the Good Witch and now uses her powers for good. After this, she took a silver tiara off a black cat statue.
As with all the singers, there was one more clue after she sang. The Men in Black brought out a wand with a star on top of it. “I’ve already worked my magic on an Emmy Award-winning show,” she said.
Who is Miss Cleocatra on The Masked Singer?
When Miss Cleocatra finished her performance, the panelists gave their guesses. Ken Jeong said he knows for sure it is Taraji P. Henson. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg said that she thought it could also be Sheryl Lee Ralph. Robin Thicke took a guess as well and said he thought it was Loretta Devine.
There is a better guess than any of those picks. Jenifer Lewis might be Miss Cleocatra. When it comes to the diagnosis that was the best thing that could happen to her, she received a bipolar disorder diagnosis in 1990. She was on In Living Color (technicolor). As for Bel-Air, she was on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She played Ruby in Black-ish, which won an Emmy.
