Farmer Brandon Rogers Spots Huge Red Flag About Joy Mayfield
Although Farmer Wants A Wife fans have had to wait an extra week to get a new episode, tonight’s episode seems to be juicy. Since the beginning of the new season, the farmers have been getting acquainted with their possible matches. But one farmer in particular, Brandon Rogers, has already seen some drama in his home. Likewise, as he said goodbye to some of his prospects, now one that remains, Joy Mayfield, is showing him a major red flag.
Reba Woods Didn’t Like Joy From The Start
During the last episode of Farmer Wants A Wife, Brandon Rogers was faced with one of his leading ladies, Reba Wood, leaving. While both Brandon and Reba seemingly had a good connection, there has been a rift between Reba and Joy Mayfield since arriving at the farm. Notably, Reba is a straight-shooting, direct personality and found Joy to be disingenuous. Since she quickly developed feelings for Brandon, it was apparent that Joy got under her skin.
When she confronted Joy in front of Brandon in an early episode, the tension made everything awkward. By the end of the last episode, Reba couldn’t take it anymore. She didn’t understand how Brandon could be attracted to two women that are starkly different. Then, much to Brandon’s sadness, she opted to end her journey on the show.
Farmer Wants A Wife Throws A Curveball
While Brandon Rogers had to say goodbye to Reba Wood on the last episode of Farmer Wants A Wife he still has two women at his farm. Furthermore, the last two daters are Grace Girard and Joy Mayfield. However, the show is adding some new tricks this season. In the teaser for tonight’s episode, the farmers each receive a letter saying they will meet another lady and have the option to bring her back to their farms. Although not much was revealed about the mystery ladies, there are clues that the letters shake up the current women vying for the farmers’ hearts. Several of the women are shown ready to pack their bags with the idea of new competition invading their territory.
Brandon Rogers Gets Vulnerable With Joy
Additionally, a clip was released ahead of tonight’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife. Within the scene, Brandon Rogers and Joy Mayfield get a one-on-one date. However, the time leaves Brandon a bit stunned. After the farmer opens up about fears he has from his mom leaving when he was younger, he is baffled by the dead reception to his vulnerable confession. While he is pouring his heart into the conversation about his parents and the uncertainty he lives with from his experience, Joy responds hollowly. She nods and says, “Right, yeah, um hmm.”
Brandon Rogers Spots A Red Flag In Joy Mayfield
Following opening up, Brandon Rogers attempts to ask how Joy Mayfield feels about what he told her. While discussing Brandon’s concerns, Joy says, “I just feel like I’m just so immune to everything. Me and my sister both, we don’t feel anything.” Admittedly, Farmer Brandon says he is a very empathetic person. When he wears his heart on his sleeve and gets little feedback from Joy, he spots a huge red flag. He expresses, “That was kind of a weird energy exchange there. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I’m very empathetic. She was very evident that she does not function that way. I definitely have my reservations and concerns going forward.” Notably, it is especially shocking to Brandon that she lacks empathy as a nurse.
