Why Did Bachelor Fans Celebrate Maria’s Elimination?
Fans were actually happy when Maria Georgas was sent home on Monday night. She has become a fan favorite for many with some even calling her “The People’s Princess.”
Many feel that Maria has carried the season and they love her outspoken, spunky personality. They belive she’s being real and many want more of her.
So, when Joey Graziadei decided he didn’t see a future with Maria, he sent her home and fans cheered. Why would they cheer for someone they love to get their heart broken? There is a huge following of Bachelor fans who want to see Maria named The Bachelorette.
Some are even saying that the show is basically over for them since Maria left. One fan wrote on X, “how am I supposed to watch the rest of the show with Maria gone? She was the whole show for me #thebachelor”
Others feel the same way. A huge amount of fans have posted on X that Maria better be The Bachelorette or they riot. One fan even said they think Maria and her family should have their own show.

Another fan posted on X that Maria was the third most trending topic during Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor. The fan said, “Maria is just that ICONIC.”

She’s Gotten A Lot Of Support
Maria Georgas has received tons of support from Bachelor Nation including Joey Graziadei. He has defended her against all the drama that happened throughout the season.
Unfortunately, Maria was at the center of a lot of drama. However, she still managed to connect with Joey and stay until after her hometown date. Part of the problem with Joey and Maria’s relationship is that she has a hard time opening up about her feelings for him. She even made a last-ditch effort right before the rose ceremony to tell him she was falling for him. He still sent her home.
