Can four years of marriage feel like ten? Rumors have been swirling for a few weeks that there was trouble in Jax and Brittany’s marriage. After alluding to needing ‘space,’ Brittany Cartwright confirmed that she had separated from her husband of four years.
The Vanderpump Rules alum said on their When Reality Hits podcast that she had moved into another home with their son, Cruz, 2. However, Jax Taylor quickly undermined his spouse and said that they were back living together. He also incorrectly stated that they’ve been married for ten years.
Some fans think Jax and Brittany fabricated their relationship troubles to garner interest for their upcoming Bravo spinoff. The Valley premieres on March 19.

Despite what Jax said, it seems that Brittany Cartwright really is living elsewhere with their son. She was caught by paparazzi cameras looking run down and raggedy amid the separation. Page Six caught the reality star as she moved into a rental home.
The usually glamorous star was bare-faced and in casual clothes, to say the least. Sporting white sweatpants and a tattered and torn Lil Wayne shirt, Brittany looked on the raggedy side.

Her Cryptic Instagram Quote Era Begins
Brittany Cartwright endeared herself to fans with her sweetness and straight-shooter attitude. However, it seems she’s not herself amid the trouble in her marriage. She took to her Instagram after confirming the separation to share a cryptic quote that gives insight into her state of mind.
“If a woman holds the power to create life, she also holds the power to create the life she wants,” the quote read. Neither Jax nor Brittany have spoken out about what led to their separation. The Vanderpump Rules stars previously said that they don’t believe in divorce. So, where will they go from here?
