Bachelor Nation fans were shocked by Joey Graziadei’s decision to send Jenn Tran home on the latest episode of The Bachelor. Could she be the first Asian Bachelorette?

Bachelor Fans React To Heartbreaking Elimination

By the end of The Bachelor, Joey Graziadei will have just one rose to hand out. He started with 32 women vying for his affection. Miami resident Jenn Tran was one of the lucky women. She went on a one-on-one date with Joey during the third episode.

The pair went surfing and then enjoyed the first-ever drone show. The lights formed in the sky to ask Jenn if she would accept Joey’s rose. She happily did, and the two seemed to have a connection.

But as viewers watched this week, the connection wasn’t strong enough. Joey Graziadei had to send two women home, and fans were shocked when Jenn Tran was one of them. The other was Kelsey Toussant.

One upset viewer took to social media to react to Jenn’s departure, calling it the “biggest heartbreak of the season.”

Will Jenn Tran Be The First Asian Bachelorette?

We know that Season 21 of The Bachelorette will air this summer. The network announced the news earlier this month when they announced the Golden Bachelorette spin-off coming this fall.

However, Joey Graziadei’s season is still airing for another month. The franchise tradition indicates that the next Bachelorette will be one of his contestants.

Could it be Jenn Tran after her shocking elimination? Bachelor Nation fans took to Reddit to discuss the idea. While many people would love to see it, they just don’t think it will happen. Here are some of the reasons why:

  • I like Jenn but she does not have main character energy. I’m not sure Maria is right for it either
  • i think jenn would be great but i don’t see her doing it because of PA school
  • I’d love a Jenn or Maria bach!!!!! I think they’ll go Maria solely based on the fascination with her polarizing personality. And she has enough fire to carry a season of entertainment.
  • I would love to see it, but I feel like producers would have highlighted Jenn or Rachel much more if they were going that route.
  • Jenn is beautiful and would make a great bachelorette, but I doubt she could take the time off from her PA school in order to do it
  • Unfortunately, I will be shocked if ABC gives us two WOC in a row as Bachelorette.

One fan thinks another of Joey’s contestants already has a lock on the gig. “Daisy is getting the bachelorette edit. If Joey doesn’t end up choosing her and she doesn’t end up as bachelorette I will be blown away,” the fan wrote.

  1. Are you kidding me ? Asian or not, she is an incredibly beautiful, intelligent, well-spoken, accomplished woman.
What about her would ANYONE not want to see as a wife or daughter-in-law ????
She is so beyond the “hopes” of what the “real guy” could imagine. She is the catch of a lifetime !!
