Grant Ellis Reflects On Fantasy Suite Dates

Next week is the long-awaited Fantasy Suite date episode. It’s a time when the Bachelor has time alone with his final three women away from the cameras. The women are offered the opportunity to join Grant Ellis in the Fantasy Suite for an overnight date. Several Bachelor Nation alum have confirmed in the past that intimacy often happens in the private suites.

Grant Ellis spoke to Parade magazine ahead of the Women Tell All special. He revealed that he went into the Fantasy Suite dates with a clear mindset to be mindful of his intentions.

“I think that fantasy suites I handled very well. I think that looking back, you have to know that if you do end up with somebody, they are going to watch all that [back] and you never want to get into sticky situations,” he told the outlet.

He added, “I think any time physical intimacy is involved, it can enhance feelings so I really tried to wait because I didn’t want to make a decision off of that and be confused.”

According to Grant, the Hometown dates played a role in his decision on who to send home. He eliminated Dina Lupancu after not being able to meet her family.

“It definitely plays a factor in the decision. Because you’re meeting people’s families,” he admitted about the Hometown dates.

His Thoughts On Hometown Dates

Juliana Pasquarosa, Zoe McGrady, and Litia Garr also had Hometown dates and all received a rose. He gave Parade his impressions of his final three after meeting their families.

Litia

“Litia’s amazing. She’s so sweet and she’s so beautiful and she’s nurturing. Her family’s great.”

Zoe

“I saw something in Zoe that made me want to help build her, because she’d been through so much, and I am somebody who’s a giver,” Grant said about Zoe McGrady. She finally opened up to him that she wasn’t in contact with her adoptive parents. She later explained more in depth about why.
