Daisy Kent is on this season of The Bachelor and has quickly become a fan favorite. She has won fans over for her story that shows her strength, sweet persona, and kindness. Joey Graziadei always mentions how he is drawn to Daisy and viewers can see the two lasting a lifetime. Kent has a cochlear implant and shares her story on the show. Daisy Kent has had a rough road in life, but that does not stop her from being a positive woman. When she was younger, she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. She never felt good and hated life. She was in a bad place and needed a fix. Daisy then started to lose her hearing. Kent then went to Germany for a bit to get treatments for her disease. She had to get her body temperature raised to 107 degrees. Not only that, but she also had to get her plasma taken out, cleaned, and put back in her body. The journey was not easy. She then decided to get a cochlear implant. Daisy was scared to do so but decided to do it anyway. She continues to think it was the best decision she has ever made. Now Daisy is living her best life and trying to find the person to spend it with.

She Hears With Her Cochlear Implant For The First Time
Kent has had a hard time adjusting to her implant but ultimately feels as though it was the best decision she has ever made. She shared on TikTok her experience of hearing with her cochlear implant for the first time. Her mom and friends came down for the weekend to celebrate and help her experience new sounds. In the video, she cannot tell who is talking and states everyone sounds like aliens. It is interesting to see the difference the cochlear implant has when it comes to hearing. She then tries to snap and feels as though that sounds more normal than the voices. It took some adjusting of the volume and adjusting to the new sounds, but now her implant helps her communicate and hear things better.
