Is Shep Rose From ‘Southern Charm’ Still Friends With Cast?
Shep Rose is known for his time on Southern Charm. He has been known as a player and drinking a little too much. After the Season 9 reunion episode, Shep said he wanted to cut back on the drinking. He needed his friend’s support during that time. However, people are unsure if Shep is still friends with a lot of his cast members. He was close to Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. Is that still the case?
Shep Rose And His Distance From Austen Kroll
In Season 9, it was revealed that Shep’s ex Taylor Green kissed one of his best friends, Austen Kroll. This shocked cast members and viewers. The two broke up after Shep cheated on Taylor. Fans know that Shep more than likely will never settle down and be with one woman only. However, some people still think Austen and Taylor did more than just kiss even though they will not admit it. Austen’s ex Olivia thinks they did more and so does the rest of the group. Taylor and Olivia were best friends as well until this happened. Olivia does not think the two can rekindle after this happened and fans do not blame her. She felt as though Taylor betrayed her and her trust.

Are They Still Friends?
It seems as though Craig, Shep, and Austen are not as close as they once were. Shep told Jax and Brittany Cartwright the details on their podcast.
“I mean, we couldn’t be two more different human beings on every scale, measurable way you could ever think of … but having said that — and we laugh about this from time to time — it’s made for really good TV over nine seasons. Just us butting heads, us seeing the world in a different way. I’m happy to see him doing well, I know that he desires a friendship and I do too, but I just took a step back from some of my show friends over the past month and a half, two months, maybe more, and that’s OK. You kind of have to, don’t you?”

While the three are not as close as they used to be, once they start filming again that may change. Craig cut back on his drinking as well and that may help Shep.
