Clayton Echard’s Alleged Baby Mama Reveals Miscarriage

Clayton Echard was taken to court in August 2023 by a woman with claims that he was the father of her twins. The case became even more dramatic when the woman involved in the lawsuit told the court that she was “no longer pregnant,” leaving many questions.

In a new online blog post, the alleged baby mama, Laura Owen, shared her heartbreak of losing the babies.

Clayton Echard’s Alleged Baby Mama Reveals Miscarriage

Clayton Echard didn’t reveal if he had a Valentine for Valentine’s Day, but he did reveal what the date signified to him. February 14, 2024, was the date Laura Owens gave in court documents as the due date for the twins she claimed were fathered by the Bachelor star.

Echard took to his Instagram on Valentine’s Day to celebrate his child-free lifestyle. He joked, “You know, in a parallel universe out there, someone’s giving birth to twins today…but not this one!”

Laura Owens and Clayton Echard have been at odds since she filed the lawsuit against him. In her blog post for Medium, she called the video “cruel, insensitive, heartless, immature and irresponsible.”

She claims in the blog post that she had a miscarriage, finally explaining what she meant by “no longer pregnant.”

However, her essay is less about the miscarriage and more about the online bullying she alleges she’s been getting from Clayton Echard and blogger Dave Neal.

“The content creator I have written about in my previous essays, today called the would-have-been father’s Instagram story, “BRILLIANT” and said he “absolutely loved it”. He and his followers seem driven by a dark desire to see me broken,” she wrote about Dave Neal.

Bachelor Nation Fans React To Her Claims

Bachelor Nation fans quickly rallied to Clayton Echard’s side when he denied that he was the father of the unborn twins. They raised over 10k to help him fight the lawsuit in court.

They continued to show their support on a Reddit thread one fan created to refute Laura Owens’ latest blog post. In fact, many don’t believe she was pregnant in the first place.

Check out some of the comments people left about the ongoing paternity saga:

  • I lost three pregnancies and am a mother to twins, this is a new low and i really didn’t think she could go any lower.
  • Get the words right. Before 20 weeks is a miscarriage. After 20 weeks is a STILLBIRTH. She testified to being 24 weeks in Court under oath (and to having seen her doctor within the last week.)
  • I pray she gets the repercussions she has avoided for so long and that she deserves!
  • What a c-word! I’m so sorry for everyone that experienced pregnancy loss and the trauma her lies are causing. Sending you all love.
  • Wowwww how many people called this yesterday after Clayton’s IG story. Terribly predictable of you, Laura.
  • Laura, I can promise you if you were actually pregnant, subsequently suffered a loss and were truly being harassed by CE and DN, the “reddit army” would be here to support you. But the facts are facts and nothing you can say or do will ever change the fact you were never pregnant with Clayton’s twins that were due on the day of love.
  • This is EXACTLY why Clayton needs to prove non paternity in court. She’s not going to stop writing things about him being the father
