‘American Idol’ Alex Miller In Fatal Car Accident
American Idol contestant, Alex Miller from Season 19 of the ABC show was hailed as a singer with an old country soul. However, that was to be his downfall because the 17-year-old wouldn’t deviate from his music roots. Recently, he was lucky to survive a fatal accident, but he feels very sad for the person who passed away.
Alex Miller Went On To Become A Rising Star In Country
Much like Laine Hardy, after the ABC talent show ended, the young man went on to become a rising star in country music. Only, Miller didn’t run into trouble with the law along the way. Laine started fundraising to rebuild his music career in October last year. That came after he completed a program after planting a listening device in an ex-girlfriend’s dorm. So, his fans hope for a comeback soon.
Not everyone who competes on American Idol goes on and becomes successful. Alex Miller seems to do okay with his country music. He’s signed to Billy Jam Records, and his music video for Puttin’ Up Hay received many compliments on YouTube. This week though, he and his team were involved in a tragic accident, and someone passed away.
American Idol Alum In Fatal Accident
The news that their bus was involved in a fatal accident arrived on @millermusic on Instagram on February 14. On behalf of the country music band, it explained that “no one on the bus was injured.” However, the driver of the car that collided with the bus passed away. So, the statement said, “Alex sends his thoughts and prayers to the gentleman and his family.” The band members were on their way “back from a vacation” when the accident happened.
Taste of Country reported that “The crash happened in Mount Vernon, Ky., a town 35-minutes southeast of Miller’s Lancaster, Ky. hometown. Police say it happened at 10:28PM.”
Additionally, the police confirmed that the other car was a “2004 Toyota Rav4,” that “drove into Miller’s tour bus.” Sadly, 58-year-old “James McPherson” lost his life.
Naturally, American Idol fans felt concerned for Alex Miller and his team. After all, the death of someone in a car accident is distressing. So, supportive fans rushed to comment.
