Reality television thrives on drama, and this season of The Bachelor has been no exception. At the start of the season, Lea Cayanan was one of viewers’ favorites. Her recent actions have turned her into this season’s villain. How far does Lea make it? Keep reading for all the details.

Note: This article contains spoilers for Season 28 of The Bachelor.

From Fan Fave To Bachelor Villain

Lea Cayanan began Season 28 with two advantages over the other contestants. First, she met Joey before any of the other women did. She was a guest at the After the Final Rose special in August when Charity Lawson’s runner-up was introduced as the next Bachelor.

During her appearance, host Jesse Palmer presented Lea with a special envelope she couldn’t open until she got to the Bachelor mansion. Inside the envelope was a card she could use to steal someone else’s one-on-one date with Joey.

Instead of holding on to the advantage, Lea Cayanan burned the card. The move earned her praise from viewers, and the first impression rose from Joey.

However, her actions in the latest episode kept viewers glued to their screens and kicked off her villain era.

The episode featured a 2-on-1 date that put Joey smack in the middle of the drama between Maria Georgas and Sydney Gordon.

He ultimately sent Sydney home, which freed up this season’s villain role. Lea effortlessly took on the role by continuing the drama with Maria.

Fans originally liked Lea, but now they can’t wait for her to be eliminated. How much longer does she last on the show?

When Will Joey Send Lea Cayanan Home?

Lea’s selfless act regarding the one-on-one dates bites her in the behind later in the season. While she makes it through tonight’s episode, she won’t be around much longer.

Citing Bachelor Nation spoiler guru Reality Steve, Distractify reveals Lea’s fate. The 23-year-old Hawaii native departs during Episode 6.

During a trip to Montreal, Canada, Lea is part of a group date with Daisy, Jenn, Jessica, Katelyn, Kelsey A., Lexi, and Rachel.

While Lea survives through the group date scavenger hunt around Montreal, she won’t make it past next week’s episode. Spoilers indicate that Lea doesn’t get a rose during the rose ceremony.

Reality Steve has already spoiled who wins Joey’s final rose, but some fans are hoping the spoilers are wrong.

    1. Exactly…………. buh bye…. She is either looking to be the next Bachelorette (please NO) or publicity to be a fan fave or villain. Either one tends to be remembered. I doubt her intentions for Joey are real 1000% And if he watches the season back and ended up with her– he would toss her to the curb after watching the episode.

  1. No! If anyone, it should be Maria. There’s a sneaking way about her, as a viewer I don’t trust her and she just doesn’t seem honest.

    1. She’s not my favorite for Joey, but she is just brutally honest and doesn’t let the other girls be snarky and get away with it. She def seems honest to a fault if anything. She did not deserve the RI QB calling her a bully and all that other crap.

  2. I cannot understand why anyone spends their time going after another. After all these years, has it worked for anyone? I don’t believe so. Maria is bold, confident, smart, beautiful and well-spoken. some people are threatened by that.
