While Welcome To Plathville‘s Lydia Plath has been slowly venturing out more away from her family, fans wonder where she is living now. Although she is taking more independent steps without her family, she remains extremely close to them. Additionally, fans have also been concerned about Lydia’s behaviors.

Breaking Out Of Her Shell

During Welcome To Plathville, Lydia Plath has always shown a gentle side that isn’t as prominent in her siblings. Moreover, she has followed the upbringing that Kim and Barry Plath raised her in more closely. Undoubtedly, much of the focus on Lydia in the show has been on her compassion and acceptance of others. Additionally, her devotion to their religion. Often, she is walking, crying out to God for wisdom in difficult situations, or spending time in her prayer closet.

But some fans find that behavior to be alarming. Essentially, it gives them red flags that Lydia Plath accepts the faith of her parents without question and their wishes without pushing back like her older siblings. But in the last season of the show, she had begun to get out more with work and friendships outside the family. Furthermore, she let fans know she was seeing a new guy. While there wasn’t much information given about the new beau, seemingly he is also very religious. However, fans are questioning where Lydia lives now.

Fans Wonder Where Lydia Plath Is Living

On Reddit, one Welcome To Plathville fan discusses Lydia Plath and her current whereabouts. They open saying, “Back together again.” Then add a question, “On Lydia’s Instagram stories, she said she is back living with her dad and the little girls. There is also a video of ethan and blackjack. Are we to assume they are all back living in Georgia again?” After the initial person’s post others began to weigh in on the Plaths.

  • One surprised fan says, “I didn’t even know she moved out.”
  • Another fan knew more about Lydia Plath’s whereabouts saying, “She did a Q&A on her Instagram and someone asked ‘are you still living with your dad and sisters?’ and she said ‘yes i’m home now! I’ve been on the road for the past 8 months, but i’m back home with my family now. Traveling is amazing but there’s no place like home'”
  • Begrudgingly, one fan scoffs saying, “Tell me she wasn’t on tour promoting her ‘music.’
  • Additionally, talking about her travels, a fan says, “I *think* she was traveling with a religious group (from her photos.. maybe called ‘the jesus generation’) singing, baptizing people and spreading their beliefs? I am not sure but that is what I *think she was doing the past 8 months.”

Back together again.

Lydia Plath’s Music

While Welcome To Plathville fans were discussing Lydia Plath’s living situation, the topic of her music came up as well.

  • “Oh good Lord. Her music and singing is absolutely awful. So is mariahs. Can they not hear themselves or what?”
  • “I dont know that Lydia is especially BAD at singing, she chose what seemed to a very pitchy song anyway on the season opener of Kim breaking bad, but they all sound kind of OK as a group. I feel especially bad for Lydia, she has zero social construct or info how to deal in our real world, it seems, and is further isolating with the exact carbon copy control freak of a boyfriend (?) is that even allowed? Are they betrothed? I would guess/bet. But when she snaps its gonna be BAD; I feel like the ‘little girls’, especially with Amber taking the helm more now, will have somewhat of a more normal life (I hope).”
