Matt Roloff has many titles. He’s a father, a grandfather, a TV star, and more. Something else about Matt Roloff is that he is also a builder. The TLC celeb always has a building project in the works. Whether he is building something completely new or doing a restoration and repair job, there’s always something to do around Roloff Farms to keep Matt and his team busy.
Matt’s latest big project was building his dream home that he and Caryn Chandler will share. The Little People Big World celeb has been keeping his followers in the loop with all of the progress being made, and fans have eagerly followed along every step of the way.
What Do We Know About This TLC Dream Home?
Matt and his team were hard at work on his new Little People Big World home for himself and Caryn Chandler. They spared no expense and wanted to get things exactly how they wanted them. Matt Roloff said that he and Caryn would be moving into their new home by December, as construction on the project was ahead of schedule.
With it now being February, many Little People Big World fans are curious about this new home and many of its unique features. Matt originally wanted to go for a farmhouse. However, once work got underway on the project, he said that this new home was taking on a more modern feel.
The build began in March of 2023. This was when Matt Roloff broke ground after five years of planning. He has also had a lot of help from his youngest son, Jacob Roloff, who moved into Matt’s old house once the new home was complete.

Little People Big World: Matt Roloff Recently Welcomed Some Surprise Guests Into New Home
With all the work that has gone into the build, Matt Roloff recently welcomed some surprise guests. Matt shared an update spending time with his grandkids. This time, from Jeremy Roloff and Audrey Roloff’s side of the family. Everyone seemed to get a kick out of the new place.
Matt Roloff said: “The kids love the wall vacuum at little papas house.”
The update Matt Roloff shared doesn’t give much away in terms of how the rest of the house looks. Along with the wall vacuum, though, there are some other clues. You can see hardwood floors, brick fixtures, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the background.
Matt Roloff certainly went all-out with this build, and his grandkids sure seem to love it. It looks like there will be a lot of fun times ahead in the new place, with plenty of memories to be made.
