‘DWTS’ Lindsay Arnold Recalls Major Accident While On Tour
It’s been quite some time since Lindsay Arnold went on tour with the Dancing With The Stars cast. But one year, the unthinkable happened.
Lindsay and several of her fellow dancers found themselves in a frightening bus accident. So what exactly happened? Keep reading to see what the mother of two said when she opened up about the accident recently.
Lindsay Arnold felt lucky to be alive after a tour bus crash
Lindsay Arnold last appeared on Dancing With The Stars Season 30 when she partnered with Bachelor Nation’s Matt James. They finished in 12th place out of 15 couples, so their time on the show was short-lived.
Since then, Lindsay Arnold stepped away from the show to focus on being a wife and mother.

But before welcoming her daughters Sage and June into her life, Lindsay enjoyed touring with the rest of the DWTS cast. She recently spoke with the DWTS Season 29 champion Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast, Off The Vine about a variety of topics, including the big accident on tour.
It was the tour back in 2018 when it all happened. Lindsay and her husband Sam Cusick were on bus along with DWTS pros Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, and Brandon Armstrong. The group’s bus entered a snowstorm and slid off the road.
“I had hit my head during one of the first bumps,” the 30-year-old shared in the interview. “And Sasha, being the sweetest ever, stands up to try to help me and then that’s when we ran into the back of a semi.”
Lindsay also detailed the crash in one of her “get ready with me” TikToks. Thankfully, everyone on the tour bus was alright. Lindsay’s head injury didn’t appear to be very serious. However, Lindsay added that they were incredibly shaken up after the incident.

The next generation of Arnolds takes over DWTS
Lindsay Arnold previously teased she might rejoin DWTS someday. But for now, she’s content to let the next generation handle the ballroom. Her younger sister Rylee Arnold made her debut as a pro dancer during Season 32. Rylee proved to be pretty popular with fans and will likely be back for many more seasons to come.
With any luck, there could be a future season with both Arnold sisters in the cast.
Right now, Rylee Arnold is touring around the country with the rest of the DWTS cast. Hopefully, she and her castmates will avoid crashes for the remainder of their tour.
