Landon Barker & Charli D’Amelio Reveal Why They Called It Quits
Sadly, Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker’s son, and The Kardashians star, Kourtney Kardashian’s stepson, Landon Barker, is going through a breakup. While Landon has been in a serious relationship for more than a year and a half, he and his girlfriend, Charli D’Amelio, are announcing their split to the world.
Big Changes For Landon Barker
Although the Barker-Kardashians had a new member join the family recently, Landon Barker still hasn’t quite transitioned with new baby Rocky. Admittedly, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Landon says he hasn’t held his new baby bro. While Travis Barker and The Kardashians star, Kourtney Kardashian, welcomed their first baby together over three months ago, Landon is still a little hesitant with all the big changes. When speaking about Rocky he says, “It’s been amazing, it’s been great.” But after getting honest he confides, “OK, let me get down deep into it,” then confesses, “I’m a little bit scared of babies.” However, acclimating to a new baby isn’t the only shift he is transitioning through, he is also facing a breakup with Charli D’Amelio.
Landon Barker And Charli D’Amelio Call It Quits
On Landon Barker’s Instagram Story post on Tuesday, he announces he and Charli D’Amelio breakup. Within the post, he says, “Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together.” Then he reveals why they called it quits. Saying, “We broke up to focus on ourselves.” They realize they need some time alone to figure out themselves rather than a serious relationship. Reassuringly, Landon says, “We are still friends and have so much love for each other.”
Please Respect Our Decision
While they made a public announcement when they officially began dating in July 2022, it is sadly ending on Instagram. Notably, this big life decision comes after being together for more than a year and a half. Landon Barker also says, “I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared.” Also requesting others to respect their difficult choice, he says, “And hope you can respect our decisions.” Then he wraps up his post reminding fans he loves them, “Thank you, love you all so much!” Since the breakup seemingly is amicable, there is always a possibility they will get back together again like they have previously.
