Kourtney Kardashian Plans To Have Next Baby Via Surrogate
Although she had a difficult pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian is already thinking about baby number two with Travis Barker. The couple welcomed their son, Rocky, in November 2023. Now, Kourtney is already talking about planning her next pregnancy with a surrogate. Keep reading to see what she has revealed.
Kourtney Kardashian Experienced A High-Risk Pregnancy
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker disappeared from the spotlight for nearly two months following the birth of their son to focus on their newborn. However, it seems as though the oldest Kardashian sister is ready to continue growing their family.
This may come as a surprise to fans because Kourtney was open about her struggles with this pregnancy. In fact, she shared that she had to undergo emergency fetal surgery in September. At the time, she posted an emotional update on Instagram detailing her experience.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterward, my rock,” the caption on the post read.
The Hulu star continued the post by thanking her mother for being there by her side as well. She continued, “I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.”
Throughout the rest of her pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian was open about how hard everything was on her. She acknowledged how difficult it is for some moms to carry their children to term and said she sympathized with them all.
“I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant,” Kourtney said at the time.
Another Baby May Be In Travis & Kourtney’s Future
Despite her difficulties, the Kardashians star wants to have a fifth child. An insider close to Travis and Kourtney said, “It was touch and go for a moment, but everyone is healthy and happy, and it has made them want even more children together.”
“This pregnancy challenged their love for each other in such a way that it is even better than it was – it makes people vomit with all the lovey-dovey high school-related PDA they share,” the insider continued.
They also shared that the couple is enjoying their newborn baby boy right now. So, the soonest they’d think about adding to their family would be next year. There would be one big difference next time around though. Kourtney Kardashian has said that she wants to go through a surrogate.
So far, no more details have been revealed, but it sounds like fans can look forward to more Kardashian babies in the near future.
