‘DWTS’ Is Cheryl Burke Joining A New Reality Show?
Is former Dancing With The Stars pro Cheryl Burke headed back to television? After hanging up her dancing shoes, it seems like that could be the case.
In the past, she’s made other television appearances, such as her run on Dance Moms. After DWTS turned down her offer to fill in for the late Len Goodman, Cheryl has been looking for other projects to work on.
She recently teased her latest idea on her podcast. Cheryl Burke wants to join the cast of a popular reality show — but with a celebrity twist.

Cheryl Burke might be done with Dancing With The Stars, but she hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning to reality television. In fact, she has her eye on a certain popular Netflix show.
On a recent episode of Cheryl’s podcast, Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans, she dished about the idea to her former DWTS co-star, Lacey Schwimmer.
Love Is Blind launched during the height of the pandemic and became incredibly popular with Netflix subscribers. Season 6 launches on February 14, but Cheryl Burke has ideas for a new spin-off season.
“I already pitched Love Is Blind the celebrity version and I would love to do that,” Cheryl shared on the podcast. “I mean, I pitched the president of Netflix this recently, I said, ‘listen, you have to do it.’ And he goes, ‘how would we do it?’ And I said, ‘well you have to have rules. You’d get disqualified if you announce, like, what you do for a living.”

The former pro dancer doesn’t mind the single life
Cheryl Burke was previously married to Boy Meets World actor Matthew Lawrence. The pair officially divorced in 2022 and went their separate ways. As of 2024, Matthew Lawrence is in an exclusive relationship with TLC singer, Chilli.
But if Cheryl is dating someone, she hasn’t publicly shared much about it. As a result, a reality television dating show could be the perfect move for her. There was even some discussion about her appearing as the lead on a season of The Bachelorette.
But even so, it seems like Cheryl doesn’t mind being single. She’s previously spoken about how she’s focused on personal growth and finding happiness as a single woman.
