Meri Brown moved her business to Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, and TLC fans saw her discuss that with Robyn and Kody Brown in Sister Wives Season 18. This week, she revealed some nice artwork with an interesting history that hangs in the Inn. In 2019, the show covered a lot about the purchase of her ancestral family home and Janelle, Robyn, and Christine did everything they could to prevent it from happening.

Meri Brown Finally Got Her Inn

Going it alone, without the help of family funding, Kody Brown’s former first wife finally signed off the deal. It was Adam Barber, Janelle’s ex-husband who helped with that. Once the Inn was up and running, it won awards, and TLC fans saw that Kody tried claiming it was his idea. For a while, Bonnie, Meri’s mom ran the BNB, but when she passed away unexpectedly, Meri’s friend, Jenn Sullivan stepped in.

TLC fans love that Meri Brown made herself an independent life even before she split from Kody. Over the years, Sister Wives viewers saw glimpses of the interior of the beautiful old house. These days, those who sign up for mindfulness retreats often spend time there. This weekend, fans got to see some lovely old prints that hang inside the house.

Meri Brown doesn’t own the originals which are worth millions of dollars. The Vintage Vault Of Upland explains that the prints owned by the Sister Wives star come with an interesting history. Similar in style and painted in oils on canvas, they were painted decades apart. If you don’t know, the boy in blue’s dad, a “merchant,” knew “Thomas Gainsborough” who painted the picture “in 1770.” The kid was named “Jonathan Buttall.”

Meanwhile, the girl has a tragic story. Sister Wives fans might not know that she was painted by a different artist named “Thomas Lawrence in 1794.” 11 at the time, Sarah Barrett Moulton, a.k.a “Pinkie,” passed away the next year. How did they become associated together as “Pinkie and Blue Boy?” Well, in the 1920s Henry Huntington owned both of them. These days, you may view them at “The Huntington Library and Gardens.”
