Kelly Ripa Finally Shares The Stage With Madonna
Kelly Ripa missed a concert by Madonna in December last year because she felt sick and she seemed upset about it. Well, this week, she finally made it there, and she ended up on the stage with the singing sensation. Actually, the two famous people met before, as the talk show host and Ryan Seacrest interviewed her in 2017.
Kelly Ripa Rubs Shoulders With Famous People
The former All My Children actress gets to meet all sorts of A-listers on Live with Kelly and Mark. However, it’s not every day that she can be with people like Madonna. In fact, she seems very excited at the moment, because she and Mark will be at The Oscars this year. The next day, they will host the Live show in the same venue. So, the audience seems excited about that.
Sometimes, fans of Kelly Ripa forget that she and Mark Consuelos are almost as famous as the people they rub shoulders with. That’s because she’s on their screens almost every day. As the couple interact, they almost become like familiar friends. Or, enemies, if you don’t like them. But, if you met them in person, you might be as happy as Mark’s wife was to meet Madonna on stage on Monday.
Madonna At Madison Square Gardens
The Live with Kelly and Mark talk show host went to the Celebration Tour concert in Madison Square Gardens, in New York City. After getting her up on the stage, People reported that Madonna and Mark’s wife judged the singer’s “backup dancers’ vogueing skills during a portion of her show inspired by her 1990 hit single, ‘Vogue.”
Everyone who tunes in and watches Live with Kelly and Mark knows that Kelly Ripa loves dancing. Did you know that she wanted to be a ballerina, but she grew too tall? During her show, Live Kelly has been known to join dancers on set. So, it seemed that she thoroughly enjoyed her time up on stage with Madonna.

Live Kelly Ripa Shares Memories Of Madonna
On Live with Kelly and Mark the next day, the host told the audience all about the evening. In parts of her tale, she sounded overawed. Speaking about being there with Mark, Demi Moore, Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, and other famous faces, she said:
We’re kind of like Madonna’s groupie posse… the oldest groupies in the world…They’re like, ‘You’re going to go on stage with Madonna.’ And at that point, I, Kelly Ripa, died. And so the ghost of Kelly is now walking over. And I’m hearing words and they’re not really making sense. ‘She’s going to give you a football. You’re going to have cards in your hands. Things are going to happen.’ And I am just sort of going, ‘Why are you talking to me? I died. Shouldn’t the paramedics come?”
