Daisy Kent Hopes Her Story Makes Others Feel Seen
Bachelor contestant Daisy Kent hopes that her story will make others feel seen. She was nervous about telling Joey Graziadei about her cochlear implant and hearing loss. She knows that if he chooses her, life might look a little different. While she was nervous, it seemed it all just made Joey like her more. Daisy Kent is quickly becoming a fan favorite on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor. Fans saw her get the first one-on-one date of the season. She and Joey just seemed to click. Plus, when she shared her past medical struggles which resulted from contracting Lyme Disease, he was very supportive.
Daisy went to Instagram to share a photo of her and Joey on their date. She then shared her thoughts on how everyone has reacted to her story. She began by saying, “I want to thank you all for being so kind and receptive of my story. The support I’ve been receiving has completely blown me away. My story is my personal experience & no path is the same, but I hope one person felt a little less alone, a little more understood, a little more seen.”
Daisy also thanked everyone who supported her that day. She thanked everyone from the camera crew, the producers, Joey and the ladies in the house. Sharing this experience with Joey and the world turned out to be one of the best days of her life. It was uplifting and changed her confidence in many ways.
She concluded her post by saying, “I encourage you as this season unfolds to show love and uplift every woman who shares her story. I can’t wait for you to hear parts of the other ladies stories as they have changed my perspective in the best ways. It’s all about the love & how we express that love to others. xx”
