‘WCTH’ Star Kayla Wallace Joins ‘Yellowstone’ Creator’s New Series
It looks like the WCTH actress Kayla Wallace who portrays Fiona Miller is headed beyond Hope Valley. She is starring in Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan’s latest Paramount + series called Landman.

WCTH Star Kayla Wallace Joins Taylor Sheridan’s Landman
WCTH star Kayla Wallace has some pretty big news. She is no longer staying in Hope Valley. She is spreading her wings and heading over to Paramount+ to star in the latest Taylor Sheridan project called Landman.
According to Variety, the series is based on the Boomtown podcast. Landman takes place in “the world of oil rigs” in West Texas. The official description of Landman is “an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”
As Fiona Miller in When Calls The Heart, Kayla plays an independent woman. However, on Landmine, she will play Rebecca Savage. She is “an extremely capable and intimidating liability attorney sent to West Texas to clean up a mess.” Sounds like she will be a force to be reckoned with.
Wallace, as well as James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Paulina Chavez, are joining Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, and Jacob Lofland.

What More Do We Know About Yellowstone Creator’s New Series?
Currently, there is not much more information on Landman or when the WCTH star and her new costars will start filming the Paramount+ series. They will likely film in Texas.
However, there is no information on whether production has begun. If they start now, it seems unlikely that this will affect her ability to stay on the Hallmark series. But, it all depends on if or when they do film WCTH Season 12.
This is going to be a huge role for Kayla Wallace. Like Hallmark alum Jill Wagner who co-created Lioness with Taylor Sheridan, Kayla’s career will be flying in a whole new direction with a cornucopia of unique opportunities.
