What if Jane Austen appeared and shared information about life and love? Here is more about Hallmark’s Love & Jane. According to the synopsis, Lilly is an advertising account. executive. However, this is not her dream career. A Janeeite, she hosts a Jane Austen-themed book club. This is the part of her life that she finds real pleasure in.
Lilly spends a lot of time reading Jane, talking about Jane, and idealizing the Regency period. That makes more sense to her than the chaotic technical world of today.
However, things change when Lilly suddenly conjures up Jane Austen. Jane is there to offer “the kind of sage advice in life and love as only Jane Austen can.”
Simultaneously, Lilly has to craft a winning campaign for her favorite bookstore with a new owner. The owner is none other than tech billionaire Trevor. They had met already, and that first meeting was a disaster. But, as Lilly and Trevor wind up spending more time together, a romance begins to bloom. That is not the only thing that is blooming.
Using Jane’s wise words of wisdom, Lilly dusts off an old manuscript and begins to tackle finishing this novel. As Lilly continues to pursue her passions, she begins to bloom.
Unfortunately, her life comes to a halt when a “grand gesture” turns out to be the opposite of what Lilly wants. Maybe life doesn’t get the same sort of happy ending that is in Jane’s books.

Alison Sweeney Shares She Is Huge Jane Austen Fan
Hallmark fans are excited about the upcoming Jane Austen-themed Loveuary movies. That includes Alison Sweeney. On Instagram, she revealed that Love & Jane “has been a passion project from the start.” Moreover, she revealed she and her Hallmark team “completely bonded to honor Jane as much as we possibly can.”
Also, she mentioned her Chronicles Mysteries co-star Benjamin Ayres. Calling his casting as “just perfect,” she revealed, “He’s brought so much to this role.”
Lastly, Alison thanked her wardrobe team. “You all really helped me discover this character and set the brilliant tone for this whole movie with the costume design.”
