‘RHOSLC’ Monica Garcia Didn’t Choose To Leave Show
RHOSLC newcomer Monica Garcia alleges that it was not her choice to exit the show after one season. Prior to part three of the Season 4 reunion, it was revealed that Garcia would not be back. Yet, no one knew the exact details, not even reunion host, Andy Cohen. Now the record is being set straight. Read on for all of the information.
RHOSLC Monica Garcia Didn’t Choose To Leave Show
At the beginning of the Tuesday, January 23rd episode of WWHL, Andy Cohen shared that Monica Garcia would not be coming back to RHOSLC. She had only been on the hit Bravo series for one season but in that time, she made quite a splash. It turns out, she was behind a popular troll Instagram account following the Salt Lake City ladies. Though she claimed she was targeting Jen Shah, it affected all of the cast. Plus, they claimed they were all devasted by it.
Heather Gay broke the news that Monica was behind the account in the season finale and it was shocking for everyone. Monica was desperate to be on the show, so much so that she worked for Shah for free. She compared herself to Kim Kardashian who had to work her way up. Though she ended the season with only Mary Cosby as an ally, she seemed like she would give it another go. Now, according to Us Weekly, it was not her choice to exit the series. She spoke to The Cut and was very open that she would not have left on her own accord.
“That would be a cast and Bravo decision. It would not have been my decision,” she shared. As for the reveal of her Reality Von Tease page, Monica Garcia added:
“I truly did not think it was going to be a big deal, genuinely. This was a bigger deal than Jen [Shah] getting arrested and going to prison. It’s comical, in a sense, that they are more upset at me about a snark page than they are about someone scamming elderly people out of millions of dollars. This was someone who they chose to stand by, but this is the be-all and end-all.”
They Knew
During the reunion, Monica Garcia alleged that the producers knew about the troll page during her initial interview. More so, she explained that she was completely transparent with them. However, Andy Cohen denied having any knowledge of this whatsoever. It seems that production is also stating the same as Cohen but he would welcome her back when the dust settles. As to whether or not the other ladies would feel the same is yet to be seen.
