Andy Cohen is not counting RHOSLC newcomer, Monica Garcia completely out from returning to the hit Bravo series. It was revealed right before the final part of the Season 4 reunion that she would not be coming back after her first season. Yet, Cohen is not done with Garcia just yet. Monica Garcia came into Season 4 of RHOSLC ready to stir things up. She came in after working closely with show alum Jen Shah. More so, she had applied claiming that they needed her to boost ratings. In the end, Heather Gay exposed her as the person behind troll account, Reality Von Tease. This Instagram page mocked the ladies of the show and caused them so much personal pain. At part three of the reunion, Monica claimed that the producers knew she was behind the account when she auditioned. Andy Cohen was blown away because he claimed he had no idea whatsoever.
WWHL aired right after the final part of the reunion and he announced that Monica Garcia would not be returning. He then got guest Heather Gay’s reaction and she was happy as she wanted to get back to the core of the show which should be friendship. Now, according to People, it seems that Cohen does not really believe she will be gone for good. As for her coming back to the show, he thinks that “anything can happen.”
He added: “Who knows? I love a comeback.” They would love to find a way for Garcia to move ahead, however, he shared: “But Lisa [Barlow] and [showrunner] Lori [Gordon] are right — it feels too raw right now.” Heather Gay is with Barlow on this one: “Monica has no connection with any of us right now. There’s no chance that she will be in my home, in my business, or around me anytime soon.” So, even though viewers would have enjoyed seeing how Monica would have made her way back, she came to do what she needed to.
Housewives Who’ve Returned
There have been housewives who’ve come back to the show after being fired or left as Andy Cohen noted. Bethenny Frankel exited RHONY in Season 3 but returned in Season 7. Tamra Judge was fired from RHOC in Season 14 but came back in 17. Heather Dubrow also exited and found her way back and now, Alexis Bellino who was done after Season 8, may be making a comeback. Finally, Dina Manzo left RHONJ but came back again. There have been a few who have come back in bit parts but the bottom line is anything is possible.
