According to IMDb, “Bode is back in prison where he receives some shocking news. The Station 42 crew responds to a massive earthquake that rocks Edgewater to its core.”
This synopsis promises a lot of action. Moreover, there will be a time jump this season of six months. In addition to that, Rafael de la Fuentes has joined the cast. Rafael portrays Diego, a combat vet who is training Gaby for her paramedic certification. He is a charmer and this could mean some competition for Bode.

New Season Promises ‘Shock After Shock After Shock’
This new Fire Country Season 2 premiere promises some real action. TV Line spoke to Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, two of the show’s co-creators. They hinted that with the six-month time jump, “everybody’s in a new place.”
Moreover, Rater hinted that subsequently, there is “shock after shock after shock….”
Phalan added, “We’ve got some great surprises coming up for the fans.” What does this mean? He quickly added, “I think people are going to be happy.”
Fans have been waiting a long time for Max Thieriot’s Bode to be vindicated. Will they see that this season? Fans will have to watch.

Is There A Fire Country Spinoff Coming?
Will there be more Fire Country? There is talk of a spinoff called Sheriff Country. However, that is all dependent on how well fans like a new female sheriff who is part of Season 2.
Although CBS has not revealed the actress portraying this new sheriff, or any other details, viewers can expect to see her in this shortened season. Afterward, the network may decide if they will continue to develop a spinoff.
