It has been rough go since Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird started The Sisters Closet initially with Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. Since Alana is away in Colorada at college, Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon has stepped up and seems to be working with the company. They even acquired a business license, as well which Pumpkin has posted. She shared she wanted to get a caravan type thing to carry their merch around. Then, she explained that she had been banned from selling on certain forums. Soon, it was three places she was banned from and was trying to figure out how to get her merch to fans who wanted it.

The problem was she was supposedly reselling cheap items at a heavier pricetag. Furthermore, Pumpkin was selling knock-off items while some believed they were the real deal. Now, a Reddit thread has been started over her not being allowed at a local vendor event. The OP wrote this:

  • Pumpkin being denied a spot for her “boutique” at a local vendor setup. Claims her crap is “OrIgINaL.” I live in the same town as these people and this will only continue. No one around here wants to be associated with their trash. Take your Temu and “HaNd-MaDE” bullsh** back to TikTok live because that’s the only way your sweat shop is bringing in money.

They also enclosed screenshots of a rant Pumpkin did on Facebook, saying she tried to put herself out to vendors. Yet, she was denied as her stuff was too similar but she guarantees what she sells is completely hers. She also added she supports many businesses as well as her own so there is room for everyone.

Fans Weigh In

So, what did the followers of Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird have to say about all of this vendor drama? More so, did they understand why she was not allowed to be a part of the event?

  • Is she seriously trying to pass off this cheap crap from Temu as original? Anyone buying sh** from her deserves to be scammed.
  • “Original” …. Girl everyone is selling cricut made cups
  • Local vendor set up…. Most require you to have your own HANDMADE items
  • Unfortunately I don’t see her taking criticism, constructive or otherwise. I see posts about “haters l” incoming or “hatters” whichever you prefer lol.

They could tell she was new to the circuit and needed a better education as to what these places were looking for. Just because she thought her stuff was special did not mean they did. So, should she keep pushing on or try to rebrand her items? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
