1000-Lb Best Friends fans don’t think TLC will bring back the show in its current format. But if the network plans a revival of any kind, viewers want one major change. They don’t want Tina Arnold involved.

Although Tina showed progress and success on her own, she just wasn’t popular with viewers. Many 1000-Lb Best Friends fans found her to be obnoxious and far too co-dependent with her co-star, Meghan Crumpler.

So what would a revival look like? Redditors recently shared their thoughts and ideas. Keep reading and see what they had to say on the matter.

1000-Lb Best Friends fans want more content but without Tina

1000-Lb Best Friends centers around four friends as they try to lose weight: Vannessa, Meghan, Tina, and Ashely. Each woman has her own philosophies and personality traits, which mean the women also often butt heads.

Over the course of two seasons, Vannessa proved to be most popular with viewers. Meanwhile, fans quickly soured on Tina. If TLC does revive the show, fans don’t want her to receive an invitation.

“I think she should remove the 1KBFF from her Instagram. Because she is no longer a 1KBFF,” a Redditor wrote online. “She was only ever on the show so she could make a little bit of money. But now that she realized she actually had to work to be on the show, she doesn’t want to be on the show anymore. But I’m sure she’s still going to use the 1KBFF for the clout.”

Other Redditors readily agreed with the OP. Many admitted they were tired of Tina’s bad attitude and wanted to see more from the other women.

Seriously I’d legit watch a show just for Vannessa, she did the work to get the surgery and continues to do the work meanwhile Tina had a big ol’ meltdown before surgery AFTER promising she’d get it with her friend,” someone else added.

I would love to see Vannessa visit the Slatons. She would be wonderful for Amy as she has raised two boys. She could teach Amy some balance,” another wrote, calling for a 1000-Lb Best Friends and 1000-Lb Sisters crossover.

Tina explains her exit from the show

Since TLC hasn’t officially renewed or canceled 1000-Lb Best Friends, no one really knows what the status is. However, Tina Arnold confirmed on social media that she wasn’t coming back.

“I don’t know. I choose to no longer be affiliated with the show if it decided to move forward,” Tina wrote in the comments of an Instagram post. “It’s just not for me and my family. I don’t want surgery, and there’s no room for weight loss without surgery on television.
