‘Unexpected’ Matthew Blevins Reveals Pitiful Amount TLC Paid
Matthew Blevins was the villain of Unexpected on TLC who cheated on Hailey Thomlinson with Hailey Tilford, and now he revealed how little they were paid. The pay reveal came during a livestream on social media and it sounds quite shocking.
TLC Paid Matthew Blevins Peanuts?
TLC’s Unexpected introduced Hailey Thomlinson in Season 3 when she was pregnant with her daughter, Kinsley. It also revealed that her baby daddy cheated with her bestie of the same first name. To distinguish them apart, fans dubbed them Hailey 1 and Hailey 2. In time, Hailey 2 also had a child and she named him Levi. As the months passed by it became clear that the two women remained friends and their children saw each other from time to time.
This week, Matthew Blevins did a livestream in the wake of news that he was arrested. If you don’t know, his arrest was for alleged 2nd-degree robbery, 4th-degree assault (minor injury), and failure to appear [on] citation for a misdemeanor. Certainly, the Unexpected star didn’t win any approving fans for that So, some people don’t care that he claimed he was just about paid peanuts for his appearances on TLC.
Unexpected On TLC Allegedly Paid Very Little Per Episode
TLC fans who saw the livestream by Kinsley and Levi’s dad took to Reddit to discuss what he claimed TLC paid them for their episodes. In the discussion, it also arose that he currently helps out Hailey Thomlinson because she and her daughter are unwell. The OP said:
Matthew…said they only make 480$ per episode on his live. That’s crazy!!!
Not many TLC Unexpected fans cared that Matthew Blevins only earned such a small amount of money. He was the villain of the show, after all. However, they wonder if his version of things might be wrong because they suspect he’s doing drugs.

Despite all the critics, a few people gave him a shout for at least spending time with Kinsley. It’s not clear whether he sees his son Levi these days. But, if he’s doing drugs and crime, perhaps Levi’s better off without him in his life.
