BIP stars Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Kayes tied the knot in Colorado four months ago and they both changed their surnames to Bell. This month, their wedding photos were featured in a Southern magazine, and that got some Bachelor in Paradise fans puzzled. Additionally, some Bachelor Nation fans slammed the photos of Dean.

BIP Dean Unglert Bell Seems Unconventional

Everything about Caelynn’s boyfriend seemed unconventional. First, he left Bachelor in Paradise but then returned and took Caelynn away with him. The adventurous traveler then seemed slow to take the next step to make things permanent. In fact, the BIP star felt that a promise ring would suffice. Eventually, Caleynn started talking about proposing to him. But then, he ended up giving her four rings.

Dean Unglert and Caelynn relocated to Las Vegas and they seemed happy there. However, he decided that they would tie the knot in Colorado. Extremely unconventional, they had a summer camp theme with a tattoo artist, and a bunch of family and friends just had some fun together. Meredith, Colorado is not in the south, so some people felt a bit puzzled when the ABC stars’ wedding was featured in the Southern Bride Magazine.

Caelynn has Southern roots and she originally hailed from Fredericksburg, Virginia. When screenshots of The Southern Bride arrived on Reddit, some Bachelor Nation fans felt surprised because the couple married in Colorado. However, a  community member pointed out that “Caelynn is from VA and was Miss Virginia Teen and Miss North Carolina. Often Southern Bride covers weddings that are outside of the south when the bride has southern roots.”

In the title of the story, the magazine referred to Dean Unglert as Dean Bell:

The Winter 2024 cover features the Real Wedding of, ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ stars, Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Bell.

Bachelor Nation fans on Reddit wondered why they didn’t give Caelynn Miller-Keyes her new surname as well. Also, others slammed her husband for looking unwashed.

  • Why did they use his new last name but not hers 😂
  • Yeah that seems like a dumb mistake.
  • Weren’t they married in Colorado? Is that a southern wedding?
  • Coming from a Coloradan, I’m equally confused!
  • I’ll never understand why he didn’t look at his hair and feel the need to wash it. He didn’t have any friends looking out? Can’t take a shower on your wedding day? Idk
  • i don’t mind the haircut, but his hair was visibly very greasy. i’ll never understand that. it takes short hair like that 10 seconds to be washed.
