Steve Harvey Dead Is Trending, Why?
As TV Shows Ace has previously reported, Steve Harvey is no stranger to being reported dead. In September of last year, the death of the Family Feud host went viral on TikTok. Turns out, it was a different Steve that passed away. The TikTok algorithm got this mixed up and played a role in the death hoax growing legs.
In November of last year, Steve Harvey’s death was reported again. This time it caused fans to panic. Fortunately, it was quickly shut down as another death rumor.
Now, he’s making headlines again. According to The Sun, he’s kicking off the year 2024 as a victim of another death hoax.
Where Did This Death Hoax Come From?
Per The Sun, there is a Facebook page that continues to revive this death hoax. The page dates back to March of last year when it first created the death hoax. “Rest in peace Steve Harvey” the page penned as it worked to convince people the Family Feud host was dead.
Sadly, some believed the post as it made rounds in fan groups dedicated to various staples in Steve’s resume such as Family Feud. As the false claim got shared, it began to trend. And, it eventually leaked off of Facebook and onto other platforms.
According to The Sun, there hasn’t been a new claim that Steve Harvey is dead. This original Facebook page, however, has just managed to revive the death hoax and cause it to make rounds on social media once again. Sadly, i appears as if Steve Harvey will continue to be the victim of death hoaxes every few months unless the page is taken down.
