‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Shocking Confession About Her Death
Live With Kelly and Mark hosts Mark Consuelos and his wife, Kelly Ripa discussed her funeral dress on Friday’s talk show on ABC last week. Thinking ahead, there’s no way she wants to be laid in a coffin looking like yesterday’s breakfast. So, she made sure that he knew where to find it.

Live With Kelly and Mark fans know that Mark’s wife has her mind on the future. After all, 2023 brought plenty of discussions about her potential retirement. Mark mentioned it, and she raised the subject more than once. Anyway, it’s not time yet, but you can probably lay money on it that she has some specific plans already tucked away somewhere.
ABC’s talk show host on Live Kelly Ripa makes a lot of jokes during the show. However, she also addresses social issues, health tips, and more on the morning talk show. So, it’s not always about bright, breezy, and sharply sarcastic one-liners. So, she seemed serious about her funeral plans and where Mark could find her dress.

Mark Consuelos Gets Told About The Funeral Dress
ABC viewers might recall that in 2016, she mentioned her funeral. People reported that “she decided to set aside an outfit for her funeral.” That came after she “passed out” following the birth of her child. When she came to, she discovered that Mark Consuelos had “dressed her in a green leotard, his black sweatpants that you rip off, and red pumps.” So, she feared something ludicrous if he chose her dress for her final farewell.
Kelly Ripa said on the newest episode of Live With Kelly and Mark that “the dress [is] in the back of [my] closet.” She added:
Let me remind you where the outfit hangs. It is labeled and Lauren knows about it. It’s a Dolce & Gabbana black dress. It’s 10 years old. It’s elegant, it’s gorgeous, it’s black, it’s adorable.
If it’s ten years old, she really did plan it long ago. Mark being who he is, teased her about it though, saying that she better “be nice” or he might dress her “in something crazy!”
ABC fans also found out from Kelly Ripa what she wanted at her wake:
…at the funeral, it’ll be a buffet of all my least-favorite things. It’ll be deviled eggs, it’ll be chicken wings, it’ll be glasses of milk.
