How Mark Consuelo’s Injury Led To A Spicy Moment
In her time as a daytime TV talk show host, Kelly has not been one to shy away from revealing personal and romantic anecdotes. Since Mark took over for Ryan Seacrest as Kelly’s co-host, it was only a matter of time before an especially spicy NSFW story found its way on-air. During Friday’s episode of Live With Kelly And Mark, the mood took a tantalizing turn when Mark brought up his recent injury.
Mark suffered a finger injury while playing beach volleyball over Labor Day weekend. The injury forced him to have a cast placed on the finger. When Mark showed off his cast to audience members, Kelly couldn’t help but throw in a jab at her husband. She jokingly accused Mark of milking his injury and loving the attention. She also took credit for being a key component of Mark’s medical team.
But it wasn’t until Kelly recalled a specific bedroom story that things started to get steamy.

“When Mark wants to do the pageantry of the finger, and the rewrapping of the finger, and the re-maintaining of the finger, he waits until I’m naked, out of the shower, and I’ve got my anti-aging oils,” Kelly quipped.
But that’s not where the story ends. Kelly continued to detail Mark’s ulterior motives for his need for first aid. “And then I have to stop what I’m doing. Now I’m, like, naked and afraid. I’m wet, I’m cold, I’m slippery, and I’ve got to administer first aid,” Kelly said before she was met by a defensive Mark.
“It was a cue for something else,” the long-time soap opera actor stated.
After some adorable back and forth between the couple, Kelly reached a humbling conclusion. “If you think that ‘Help me bandage my faux injury’ is foreplay, then we have drifted… we are now on separate islands,” she joked.
