While Christine Brown has been a traditionalist most of her life, she is edging out and discovering life differently now. Although she always wanted a big wedding, her first marriage to Kody Brown was very modest. However, now, she is breaking free and showing off her incredible wedding and reception to the world during the Sister Wives Wedding Special. But she has made some drastic changes to her wedding that steer away from tradition.

Christine Brown Branches Out

On Sunday, January 14, Christine Brown and David Woolley, get to revisit their spectacular event during the Sister Wives Wedding Special. As the excitement brews, TLC has released new sneak peeks that give fans a glimpse of the party to come. But Christine isn’t sticking to her normal traditional ways. Admittedly, she used to not drink alcohol or have tattoos, but now she does. Notably, David is almost the polar opposite of Kody Brown as one can be. Additionally, Christine and David opted not to exchange vows at their ceremony. Markedly, Christine also skipped the daddy-daughter dance even though her dad, Rex Allred was in attendance.

Christine Brown Shakes Up Tradition

In the Sister Wives teaser for the Wedding Special Part 2, Christine Brown shows off her choice to have a mother-daughter first dance in lieu of the standard father-daughter dance that ushers in most unions. Sadly, Christine says, “I knew that I couldn’t have a daddy-daughter dance because my dad, he can’t dance.” Then choking up a bit she finishes, “He’s too sick.” Then she tells how she got to the decision of having a different special dance. She says, “So David suggested a dance with my daughters instead.”

Sharing A Cherished Moment In Time

While dancing with her daughter Ysabel Brown, Christine Brown cherishes the moment albeit also being sad her father couldn’t share the floor. In the clip, Christine reflects, “It just seemed just natural. They’ve been with me for so, so much of this.” Then adding, “For everything.”

Compounding the love, Christine’s girls all flooded the dance floor when the solo dance was over. Then each of the three of her other daughters present, Aspyn, Mykelti, and Truely Brown, wrapped their mom and sisters in a giant hug.

Christine Brown Embraces All The Daughters

Following the heartwarming dance, Christine Brown invites David Woolley‘s daughters to join in the fun. In the interview she says, “And then we needed all of the daughters and David’s daughters too and extra daughters and all the ladies on the dance floor.” Christine adds, “And the vision was just to make it this big huge group of women dancing together. It was incredible.” And the energy was contagious. Janelle’s son Hunter admits about Christine, “She just is so much fun. She’s got a positive feedback loop.” And Gabriel also confesses, “Quite frankly, I’ve never seen her be this happy.” Admittedly, he gives a nod to Kody and Christine for their efforts to try and make things work but acknowledges in the end it wasn’t meant to be. Then Gabriel adds, “I’m reassured that this is right for Christine when I see how happy David makes her.”
