What Is Great American’s Country Rescue About?
On Monday, Great American Family announced that they are premiering their first produced series. According to Deadline, it is a five-episode series called Country Rescue. It is described as “an action-adventure medical drama.” Julia Reilly plays an EMT who is under training. There are three positions available, and she is determined to get one.
In addition, Stacey Patino, Percy Bell, Tim Perez-Ross, Riley Hough, Keller Fornes, Angel Luis, Kristin Wollett, and Brett Varvel also star.
Country Rescue will premiere on the network on February 17. However, they plan more than this series.

GAF Will Be Announcing Mysteries Next Week
Not only is Great American Family launching their first series, but they are also going to be making mysteries. They will be launched in the first quarter of 2024. They will be “original movies centered on the lighter side of mysteries and whodunnits.” Moreover, they will star “fan favorites from the network’s family of talent.”
Could this mean former Hallmark mystery stars such as Jill Wagner, Danica McKellar, or Candace Cameron Bure star in a new mystery series?

Great American Family To Produce A ‘Record Number Of Movies’ In 2024
The network already has some big plans for 2024. They will “produce a record number of original movies across the company’s services in 2024.” In 2023, Great American Family produced 21 new movies for Great American Christmas.
In addition, last year, Great American Family set themselves up for growth with the addition of their streamer Great American Pure Flix, and Sony partnership. Now, they will release Destination Heaven and Shadrach, as well as Going Home Season 2 on their streaming account.
Bill Abbott, the President and CEO of Great American Media is looking optimistic about the future of this start-up network sharing that “our 2023 results greatly exceeded our expectations.” In addition, he revealed, “We are continuing to build on the phenomenal growth of our media brand and are excited to fully capitalize on the synergies now available with Sony and Great American Pure Flix.”
He went on to look ahead to the future. “We are looking forward to having a positive impact on viewers and the entertainment business by creating quality content that can be enjoyed by the entire family.”
Country Rescue will premiere on Saturday, February 17. However, it will also be available on Friday, February 16 on Great American Pure Flix.
