A misunderstood Savannah Chrisley took to her Instagram Stories to share she was drowning and lost in conflicting emotions while struggling to sleep. Misunderstood Savannah Chrisley Lost In Emotions & Can’t Sleep
It was the night before Savannah Chrisley traveled to visit one of her parents. Sadly, there was a lot of emotional and mental preparation that went into visiting one of her parents. Feeling extra emotional, Savannah took to her Instagram Stories to get real with her fans. She shared she was feeling misunderstood by those who didn’t have incarcerated loved ones. Furthermore, she was drowning in a mixed wave of conflicting emotions.
“The night before I go visit my parents I get really anxious… can’t sleep… can’t sit still… and my mind just won’t shut off. Waves of anxiety, grief, sadness, happiness, etc.”
She continued: “Up at 3am.. gotta get ready and start driving.”
“Feelings that only a loved one of someone who is incarcerated will understand,” Savannah concluded. She ended her words with a broken heart emoji. Then, she added a poll asking her fans if they had someone they loved behind bars.
Her post did not clarify if she was heading to Pensacola Federal Prison Camp in Florida to see her father, Todd. Or, if she was headed to the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky to see her mother, Julie.
As fans know, both Todd and Julie are serving time behind bars for their involvement in a bank fraud and tax evasion scheme. To date, the entire Chrisley family maintains their innocence. And, they vow to continue to fight the charges.

Visiting Her Parents Less Often
As fans know, Savannah Chrisley originally made an effort to visit a parent every single weekend. This would involve packing Chloe and sometimes Grayson up and traveling every single weekend to either Kentucky or Florida.
Per E! News, Savannah has seriously dialed back how much she visits her parents. Between focusing on her new relationship with her boyfriend and being a parent of two, she just doesn’t have as much time to travel to see them. Savannah admitted that not going to see her parents as often did cause her to struggle with feelings of guilt.
“I have this layer of guilt that weights over me like, ‘Oh my gosh, you have to go see and them. Like, how selfish of you?’ I’m the angel on one side and devil on the other, of just this constant battle of feeling what I’m doing isn’t enough.”
