Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird Openly Scamming People In New Business
For quite some time now, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird has been selling items on social media. Many fans have called her out for reselling inexpensive brands at a higher price. She makes them seem like lux items when in fact, they aren’t. Now, along with her sister Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, she has started The Sisters Closet. They sell everything and anything to their followers. Most recently, they caught a lot of heat for selling custom Freshies in honor of their late sister, Anna Cardwell.
It had a family photo from Anna’s March wedding to Eldridge Toney on it with the proceeds going to cancer research and Anna’s daughters. Yet, many felt it was simply too soon. Since Alana is always away in school, Pumpkin is the main promoter. She just started selling Valentine’s Day STANLEY tumblers but fans questioned if they were legitimate. Pumpkin was honest and said they were fake. This started a whole Reddit thread.
The OP wrote this in regards to the tumblers:
- The Cups she will be selling are NOT official STANLEY Cups. Wow how deceptive this post is . Second pic Someone asks if these are the official cups. They are Not. I hope All the Brands they sell Fake merchandise in their name come knocking
They also attached the Facebook image where one person asked if they were real or knock-offs. Apparently, Pumpkin said on her livestream that they were fake. So, what did fellow Redditors have to say?
- she does realize she can get sued
- TikTok deleted a bunch of shops because of this
- The fact she’s selling Stanley KNOCK OFFS for Stanley price 😭
- Stanley is finna send her a nasty lawsuit
In Hot Water
It seems that Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird realized that she was in hot water as she has since blurred the STANLEY logo off of the tumblers. More so, she recently shared that she got her official business license on her Facebook page with a photo of the certificate. Therefore, if it has all of her information, that could pose a problem for her if the company gets wind of what she is doing. Only time will tell what will happen with this whole situation but clearly, followers are catching on and they are calling her out at every move.
