Who Officiated At Christine Brown & David Woolley’s Wedding?
Christine and David’s Wedding special for Sister Wives airs on TLC on Sunday, January 7. Plenty of sneak peeks arrived, and one of them revealed who officiated at the wedding. Although it all happened in October last year, it’s taken a bit of time to air on television. So, fans are keen to learn more about what the day involved.
Christine & David’s Wedding Venue Looked Perfect
Long before TLC started sharing previews of the ceremony, a photo leaked from the outdoor setting in Utah. The Red Cliffs Lodge looked lovely, with the river backdrop draped with mountains. Zooming in, people could make out three people when the Sister Wives star wed her man. Obviously, the third person officiated the matrimonial ceremony.
Speaking with InTouch Weekly about her and David’s wedding, Christine Brown explained that they decided to ditch making vows. And, that’s the first time she mentioned the name of their officiant. Instead of the “death do us part” vow, they chatted with their officiant before sealing it with a kiss. She said, “We were talking, Corbin is the [officiant], and he’s like, ‘Well, do you guys want to have vows, recite vows?’ I’m like, ‘The till death us part and sickness and in health, stuff like that?’ No, that’s already a given.”
Sneak Peek Reveals More About Officiant, Corbin
David Woolley has a very large family, and not all of them wanted to be filmed. One of them who didn’t mind, is his daughter, Kati Charlene. Charlene is not her surname, but it is a family name from her late mom’s side of the family. She’s active on social media, and many photos of her children appear on Instagram. Kati was in the latest sneak peek, and it turns out that the officiant is her husband.
Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding sneak peek revealed Tony Padron meeting some of David’s family members. One of them, Corbin, was introduced, and Tony asked him about his qualifications. Corbin said it was one of the “$50 courses,” and he got a certificate. Meanwhile, David Woolley explained that Corbin officiated at his “son Dallas and Morgan’s wedding.” Mitch Thompson was there, and he seemed relaxed with Corbin. Interestingly, he also follows Kati Charlene on social media.
Sister Wives Fans Discuss Corbin Officiating Christine and David’s Wedding
The sneak peek soon made its way to Reddit, and TLC fans saw that Corbin and Kati Charlene spoke about how he offered to marry the couple any time. Fans of Christine Brown like the idea of meeting more of David Woolley’s family.
- Love that this dude talked to Christine and David about what they want in the ceremony. Why don’t I have the impression that Kody did that for the couple he married last season?
- This guy! No random knighting ceremony or Hebrew prayers? No smacking the groom? No too-short kilts? He’s got this.
- Wow, just this short clip made me warm to David and his family. They seem like nice normal people and feel like the families will get along well. Looking forward to some positivity.
- I’m actually excited to maybe meet some of David’s family next season. We could use some new ‘characters’
- Just love how Mitch just sitting there. Mitch seems to know the family a bit more than Tony does since he’s just asking questions. Probably it’s the producers but still. I think Mitch and Aspyn probably hung out with David and his kids and family more so. Loved seeing how happy they all are.
