Christine Brown And David Woolley Rejected Wedding Vows, Why?
Christine Brown’s fans can’t wait for Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding which airs on Sunday, but TLC viewers won’t hear them exchanging vows. Presumably, they said something to each other before they locked lips in front of their family. But, the popular reality TV star discarded the bits about death and parting. Why did they decide on that? Read on to find out.
Christine Brown And David Arranged Their Wedding
Keeping everything simple, the couple decided to organize their wedding. The gorgeous venue was David’s choice. If you don’t know, they tied the knot at the Red Cliffs Lodge in Utah. In October, some photos leaked and it was clear that lots of their family members were present. However, Kody and Robyn were not there. It seems like Meri Brown wasn’t invited either, and one of her family members passed away around then anyway.
In a teaser for Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding, Christine Brown talked about how they were getting married “in two days.” Then she confessed that she “stalked” David Woolley. The couple looked very happy, and Janelle Brown noticed that they were “openly affectionate.” Everyone went on a river cruise ahead of the wedding and a lot of fun was had by all. But obviously, the wedding itself was more serious. According to People, “The bride and groom exchanged vows under a floral arch in front of the Colorado River.” So that confirmed something was said and they didn’t just stand there gazing into each other’s eyes.
David Woolley And Christine Ditched Traditional Vows
InTouch Weekly reported that the TLC stars decided not to do traditional vows. Speaking with the bride ahead of the special on TLC, she said:
We wanted it small. We wanted it short. We wanted it as intimate as possible [and] we just wanted that. So there weren’t any vows or anything like that. It was so funny. We were talking, Corbin is the efficient, and he’s like, ‘Well, do you guys want to have vows, recite vows?’ I’m like, ‘The till death us part and sickness and in health, stuff like that?’ No, that’s already a given.
Christine Brown wondered why anyone would need to say that sort of vow for a second time, adding, “That doesn’t make any sense to me. So I mean, we’re already completely committed to each other.”
It’s not too far off now until Sister Wives fans see the two-part wedding. Christine’s son Paedon walked her down the aisle and a pack of kids followed them, However, nobody from the family stayed at the altar during the ceremony.
What are your thoughts on Christine Brown and David Woolley discarding the vows, and rejecting the “until death us do part?” Do you agree that it seems like a waste of time if people love each other deeply? Sound off in the comments below, and come back here for all your Sister Wives news.
