David Woolley and Christine Brown Could Have Eloped

Christine and David got married in October 2023. They certainly had a whirlwind romance, which surprised and worried a lot of people. However, it’s clear from Brown’s comments about flavors of ice cream and canceling a date that she just knew that this man was the one for her after her split from Kody Brown. It looks like Woolley knew the same with how quickly he proposed.

According to In Touch, David Woolley wasn’t interested in a big wedding. He would have been happy to elope in Las Vegas. As a biker and a rock fan, it shouldn’t be surprising to hear that he wanted to do it all at the KISS place.

What changed his mind? Christine’s wishes. He knew that she wanted a fairytale wedding, and he also knew she deserved that. part of him even wanted that. So, the two opted for a wedding in front of their family and friends. What about Christine’s fans? That wasn’t something Christine brought up.

Who Decided on the Sister Wives Special?

It turns out that Woolley was the one to suggest a special. He knew that this would be important to the 51-year-old reality star, even if she didn’t bring it up. The two did spend time debating the idea of filming their wedding, and in the end, it came down to the fans who have watched Sister Wives for the last few decades.

David knew that a lot of fans wanted to see Christine gain happiness. Sure, they can see that through social media or from future seasons of Sister Wives, as it’s clear the series will continue, but having the special was important. David made it clear that fans deserved to see the Sister Wives star get her fairytale wedding.

There was a bit of a reality shock for the groom on the day. While Christine has only ever done filmed weddings, David wasn’t ready for all the cameras around. He says he felt like he was at a royal wedding and then remembered that it was his wedding. The crew may have been smaller than normal ones for Christine, but it was still surreal for her new husband.
