Kody caught the attention of many viewers for how he behaved toward his ex-wives throughout Season 18 and the latest spinoffs. He once referred to Christine and Janelle as “s*** sister wives” and has admitted that he never loved them from the beginning. According to the Sister Wives star, it was a decision he made to be in that “covenant of love” with them. The 54-year-old openly expressed his lack of interest in reigniting his relationship with Meri as well. He has also questioned his ex-wives’ loyalty and obedience multiple times.
Kody Never Badmouthed Robyn?
Some Redditors are puzzled about how Kody never had anything bad to say about his only remaining wife, Robyn. According to some, she barely contributed anything to the family. She also distanced her children from the other families, neglecting one of the main purposes of polygamy. Here is what the Reddit poster said.
I just realized something astounding. In all 18 (or however many there are) seasons, I have NEVER ONCE heard or seen Kody make even one negative comment about Robyn. Not one slight, jibe, snarky remark, nary a harsh word! Yet, he never wasted an opportunity to get in a dig, insult, or hurtful remark to the now ex-wives.
Others agreed about how “perfect” Robyn Brown looks in the eyes of Kody. Some even recalled moments when her husband made her flaws a compliment or played it kindly.

Despite having almost no negative comments about Robyn throughout their show, some Redditors recalled one instance in which Kody seemingly snarked about his fourth wife. It was the time when they first met. According to some, the Sister Wives star had an “ick factor” knowing that Robyn came from a divorce.
He did once pretend that there was a cringe factor to Robyn because she was divorced with young kids and looked like a soccer mom.
However, Kody Brown made sure that he “vetted” her enough. Meanwhile, some mocked their “covenant” and assumed that never speaking ill of her was part of their sacred agreement.
