‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Shares Her Decision To Adopt
Sister Wives star Meri Brown has always loved animals and has always longed for more children. Now that her only child Leon is married and living their own life, Meri has had to find other ways to occupy her time.
After parting ways with Kody Brown, Meri put a lot more of her time and energy into her bed and breakfast. She also spends quite a bit of time going on adventures with her friends.
And yet, Meri still felt like her life was missing something. The TLC star made the decision to adopt recently and proudly shared an update on her Instagram page.

These days, Sister Wives fans can’t help but notice that Meri Brown is much happier. Divorcing Kody Brown and surrounding herself with loved ones seems to have brightened her smile.
Meri decided that now was the perfect time to add someone new to her family.
The TLC star adopted a new dog!
“Welcome to my world Zona!! 💙💙” Meri shared on Instagram, along with a picture of her new pet. “They say love comes when you least expect it. Ask anyone I know, I wasn’t going to get a dog. I travel too much. They’re a lot of responsibility. I had all the reasons to not get one.”
The Sister Wives star went on to say that she loves visiting shelters and playing with the animals. When she met Zona, it was love at first sight.

“I couldn’t get her off my mind or out of my heart, so I went back on Sunday and brought her home with me!” Meri continued. “What a perfect way to spend New Years Eve! So Happy New Year to me and to my sweet Zona, we have each other to love! Looking forward to 2024 and all the magic and surprises it holds for me! #WorthyUp”

Of course, Sister Wives fans were delighted to see Meri Brown so happy. On top of that, they praised her decision to adopt a pet from the shelter.
