When to watch Casey Anthony’s Parents: The Lie Detector Test
When Caylee died, Casey Anthony was vilified and George was treated almost as a hero. He put together a foundation to help other parents find their missing kids. However, thanks to Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies, she has put a spotlight on her dad. It seems the documentary was made to make it seem like George might have had something to do with Caylee’s murder. It also accused George of sexually molesting Casey when she was a child.
Now, George and Cindy Anthony are fighting back. Casey Anthony’s Parents: The Lie Detector Test sees George and Cindy both undergoing polygraph tests on-camera. They will answer the accusations Casey and her documentary made about them. This show will also include the real-time responses to the polygraph questions and their reactions to the questions answered by each party.
For anyone who wants to see the new documentary special, Casey Anthony’s Parents: The Lie Detector Test airs on A&E on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 9/8c. It will be available to stream the very next day.
What did Casey Anthony say about her dad George?
In the documentary Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies, Anthony made some distressing claims about her father, George, and her brother Lee. Acasey said that both of them sexually abused her when she was a child. She said George sexually abused her between the ages of eight and 12. She also accused him of smothering her with a pillow if she resisted. Casey said that she felt it was happening to her daughter as well.
The docuseries corroborated this with interviews with her former fiancé Jesse, a friend she wrote to from prison, and a mitigation specialist working on her case. All three of them said Casey had made these claims to them long before the documentary. The documentary tried to show that the reason Casey showed no remorse after her daughter’s death was because she was sexually abused as a child.
On top of that, Casey’s brother Lee said that George buried their dead pets in the same manner that Caylee was buried. Lee felt this meant George had something to do with the death.
