Fans of singer and songwriter Elle King did a double take when she walked onto the stage as the host of the New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville Big Bash in Music City tonight. Not only was the singer’s hair a different color but her body was different as well.

At first glance, fans of the singer were not sure it was Elle King as she was rocking a much darker hair color. Her long dark brunette locks flowed in loose large waves down her back and over her shoulders. She rocked a two-piece baby pink ensemble that gave off a mixture of business and cowgirl vibes.

Her light pink skirt ended halfway down her thigh allowing her to show off her thick, muscular legs for all to see.

Her light pink outfit was paired with silver metallic cowgirl boots that came up to just below her knees.

In addition to her darker hair, the singers’ fans were also surprised by her appearance because she looked to have lost some weight. Overall, however, most were in agreement she looked incredible and happy after they got over how different she looked.
