American Idol fans threaten to boycott
Earlier on this season of American Idol Season 21, fans threatened to not watch the rest of the show with Katy Perry as a judge. They’re over her “cruel” behavior in the comments. Rumors swirled that she could lose her position after this season. Producers are reportedly taken note of the backlash and might consider removing her from the panel.
Katy will be temporarily away from the judges’ table in the next few episodes. She will be in London to perform King Charles III’s Coronation alongside fellow judge Lionel Richie. However, some fans think she won’t return even after that. If Lionel is the only one to return to the Idol stage, this means that producers are working to get her off the show.

I stopped watching American Idol long time ago because you could clearly see that they were voting out people with great talent and keeping people that were mediocre because they wanted who they wanted to win. the fix has been on for a very long time and I’m glad they finally calling the show out
Right now there’s only one person on American Idol that I like if she get voted out I’m not watching anymore. Every year I stopped watching it when they vote out one or two people that I like they end up with all country people and I’m tired of it too.
If the country singers are the best then let it be country some people going to complain no matter what and a true fan isn’t going to boycott just a bunch of nonsense leave the judges alone their great and let the best one win .I’m sick of all the complaining wish everyone would just enjoy the show.GO COLIN for the WIN we LOVE COUNTRY!
We stopped watching The Voice for the same reason. If, at the end, there’s someone with a big, amazing voice and a cute blonde country singer, you already know who they will pick.
America is voting for who they want to win. I am sorry that a few “loud mouths” are having their feelings hurt because their picks aren’t winning. The show isn’t “rigged” so, the most popular artist, by vote, should continue to win. The genre of the artist is of no consequence when the whole country has the opportunity to vote. I hope the producers never attempt to influence this fun show by “rigging” the show to appease a few snowflakes.
