Theresa Nist Stuns In First Wedding Gown
Golden Bachelor winner Theresa Nist shared old photos on social media that revealed her first wedding dress. She looked stunning as she married her first love. Now, she’s gearing up to marry her second love, Gerry Turner. Nobody knows what her new wedding gown will look like but fans are gushing over how fabulous she looked in her first one. Theresa Nist stuns fans with photos from first wedding
Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner may be in love now, but neither will forget the incredible marriages they had with their first spouses. Both will continue to honor their memory while making new memories of their own.
Theresa did just that for her husband William “Bill” Nist who passed away nine years ago. She honored him on November 11 with photos from their years together.
Her gorgeous wedding gown had vintage vintage details, such as puffed long sleeves and a high neckline. She also wore a romantic veil made of what looked like lace floral appliqués that laid on top of the headpiece and wrapped around her long hair. Bill chose to wear black slacks, a white tuxedo top, and classic dress shoes.
Theresa’s caption was perfect. She said,
Billy and I met when I was 14 and he was 16. We got married at 18 and 20. He was stationed in Berlin during the Vietnam war. I took my first plane ride and we lived there for almost a year. Living in Berlin, I realize now and at the time, was a once in the lifetime experience. Billy passed away nine years ago today. Remembering my late husband and remembering all the veterans who served our country so that we could be free, not to do whatever we please, but to do the right thing.
Fans loved how Theresa honored Bill and also loved the old photos that came along with it, especially her first wedding gown.
Deep in the wedding planning process
The wedding is now less than a week away. Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner have been busy trying to get everything finalized. However, they do have help. Theresa revealed that her daughter Jen has been taking the lead and doing a lot of the planning and organizing.
No doubt the ceremony will be over the top fabulous with tons of flowers everywhere. Lots of flowers are one of the things Theresa really wants for her special day.
