Joe Amabile, Serena Pitt Reveal Crisis Led To Cherished Memory

Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt reveal crisis over the holidays
Bachelor in Paradise couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt faced a crisis over the holiday season that actually led to a special memory. People shared the scoop on what happened with these adorable newlyweds.
First of all, Joe admits he loves Christmas. He said, “I love Christmas. I hate guys that are like, ‘I’m a Christmas guy,’ but I am a Christmas guy.”
However, he wasn’t exactly excited at first about decorating their apartment in New York City being that they would barely be there during the month of December.
He said, “After Thanksgiving, we had Thanksgiving in Chicago, went back to New York, looking at our schedule for the rest of the month. We’re literally going to be in New York for six days and Serena made us still decorate the entire apartment for six days. And our place is 700 square feet if we’re lucky. What is the point of this?”
So after arguing that there was no point to it, he lost the battle and gave in and they decorated. However, what seemed like a bad idea turned into an adorable memory because of a crisis. Joe shared that their apartment had a big water leak. He said, “Our ceiling started leaking like seven days ago. It was a serious problem.” He said they even had to get their bed cleaned because water was all over it.
“So then we had to sleep in our living area and we had this little sleepover and all the lights and the tree were there. It was kind of cute. It was cute.”
Now, it’s a memory they will forever cherish together.
They are the perfect match
Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt met on Bachelor in Paradise. Joe proposed and the rest is history. They started going back and forth between homes and then in December of 2022, they got married at the courthouse. They then followed up their nuptials with another big wedding celebrating with family and friends in September 2023.
So far they are not discussing children just yet.
