Emma Slater has a moment with another dancer
Pro dancers Sasha Farber and Emma Slater got engaged on Dancing With The Stars. Although they both seem to be on amicable terms, the pair recently filed for divorce. This is also the first tour in quite some time that Sasha hasn’t been part of, leading many to speculate there’s drama boiling behind the scenes.
And of course, the ongoing rumors about Emma’s relationship with her dance partner Mauricio Umansky probably didn’t help the situation either.
As the pro dancers prepare for the 2024 tour, photographers have been capturing behind-the-scenes moments. In one Instagram photo dump, fans spotted something very interesting.
“TGIF (Tour’s Getting Incredibly Fun) 🕺” the tour’s Instagram account captioned a post. At first glance, all the photos appear to capture all the fun and innocence of the tour. But in the fourth photo, fans noticed that Emma’s hand is resting on her fellow dancer Alan Bersten’s hand.

Some fans thought the photo was evidence that Alan and Emma are an item. Others thought the photo was overblown and nothing more than an innocent friendship.
Of course, Redditors had plenty to say about the image.

A Dancing With The Stars fan shared the photo of Emma and Alan on Reddit, which caught a lot of attention.
“Just saying, I think this picture is cute 😭” one Redditor shared. “I don’t really get the rumors if they’re ‘dating’ but hey as long as they’re both happy as individuals, it’s all good :)”
“One picture and people think there’s a relationship. That she somehow has no control around men. A few weeks ago it was her and Mauricio holding hands and supposedly dating. Now it’s her and Alan and that’s being cited as why Sasha is kicked off the tour. 🙄” another added.
But some did think the photo had a deeper meaning.
“I don’t necessarily think they’re in a relationship this pic could literally just be her touching him briefly while she’s laughing,” someone else chimed in. “But I have heard lots of rumors about these two specifically. I definitely don’t believe all of them because I didn’t start hearing anything until after the divorce. They could be, they could not be. They’re adults and can do what they want if they choose to.”
