Tammy Slaton Shares True Feelings, Breaks Down In Tears
In a new preview for an upcoming episode of TLC’s 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy Slaton breaks down to tears while sharing her true feelings. It was a video phone conversation with her husband Caleb Willingham that triggered the emotional rant. What exactly brought the TLC star to tears? Tammy Slaton Shares True Feelings
During a phone call with Caleb Willingham, Tammy Slaton got bad news. Her husband was backsliding. The doctor was willing to do the surgery if he could get to 500 pounds. Unfortunately, he went in the wrong direction and gained weight. Making things even worse his doctor also informed in that his trach would need to stay in place.
Tammy Slaton was gutted. Talking to the camera and not her husband, she said she didn’t feel like she could be honest with him because he was sensitive. So, she kept a lot of things to herself.
Caleb admitted to his wife that his problem was largely the fact that he ate his feelings. Tammy urged him to find an outlet other than eating for his emotions. She even offered a solution telling him that he should try playing video games instead of eating so much. Caleb Willingham fired back that he didn’t want video games. He wanted his wife. He missed her.
Tammy Slaton understood. She missed Caleb and wanted to be with him too. He, however, needed to lose the weight and get the surgery if they were going to be together. Tammy Slaton, however, feared that he would have to slip into another depression and hit rock bottom before he made any real changes.
Sadly, as those who are current on Tammy and Caleb know, he was never able to turn things around. Caleb Willingham passed away without ever reaching his weight loss goals. Tragically, his funeral will be featured in this season of 1000-Lb. Sisters.
